SA Aluminium manufactures two types of aluminium casement windows. Aluminium top hung windows and aluminium side hung windows.
Aluminium Window Frames
Top hung windows are literally windows which hang from the top and open vertically. We recommend these in blocks of flats and residential buildings. Top hung casement windows come in two different thicknesses (casement). Namely a 30.5mm and a 36mm casement. The 36mm casement is a better option as it is more sturdy and easthetically pleasing compared to the 30.5mm. All top hung windows come in three glass types such as Clear, Low E and Clear SIG. These windows come with our unique rounded sash which makes them just a little nicer to look at than others. Handles come in black but we can supply natural anodised or white if you wish. Side Hung Aluminium Window Frames
Side hung windows are literally windows which hang from the side and open horizontally. We install them often in free standing homes and residential buildings. Just like our top hung range, our side hung aluminium windows come in two different thicknesses (casement). Namely a 30.5mm and a 36mm casement and also have three glass options such as Clear, Low E and Clear SIG.
Burglar deterrent bars are available as an optional extra on all casement windows and come in standard lengths and heights. The burglar bar tube dimensions are 18mm x 21mm, finished with black end caps. All of our top hung and side hung aluminium casement windows come in many different sizes.
